Many of the sites are included in Appendix 1. In each graph, the y-axis represents frequency, and the x-axis the distance along a 40 x 5 cm quadrat. The site abbreviations are as follows: BS = Jambi, Sumatra; Bra = Brazil; Cam = Cameroon; Kny = Kenya; Mad = Madagascar; and Png = Papua New Guinea.
